LTI Ultralyte 20-20 vs Blinder M45 Xtreme Laser Jammer Test
About the laser jammer tested: The Blinder M45 Xtreme is Blinder’s top of the line laser jammer. It’s advertised to jam at any distance and in any circumstance. This review should give you a better understanding if Blinder’s performance is really just marketing, rather then performance.
Testing equipment: For this jammer test we used the LTI Ultralyte 20-20 laser gun. This lidar gun is deadly to drivers without a laser jammer because it ranks #1 in the world and #2 in the USA as the most common lidar gun. Laser Technology Inc. was the first company to invent the police speed laser gun.
Laser jammer testing vehicle (300M): Just like our other Blinder M45 Xtreme laser jammer test runs we decided to use a Chrysler 300M because its virtually the same size as the Dodge Charger found in the newest Blinder M25 Xtreme commercial filmed by ‘Outrun.’ Unlike the paid filmers, we’re going to see how this Blinder Xtreme laser jammer performed under real circumstances. We are not hear to film a commercial. We’re here to see how the jammer really performs.
Testing Parameters: The LTI Ultralyte 20-20 lidar was mounted on a tripod while the camcorder was positioned to film through the H.U.D. We have more Blinder Xtreme laser jammer test runs coming out where the lidar guns aren’t tripod mounted. Be sure to stay tuned for those future Blinder Xtreme test videos.
Summary of test results pulled from Blinder Xtreme laser jammer test videos:
Part 1 0f 3.
Test run #1 – Speed reading at 392 feet
Test run #2 – Speed reading at 1,478 feet
Test run #3 – Speed reading at 1,113 feet
Test run #4 – Speed reading at 304 feet
Part 2 0f 3. Watch the test videos!
Test run #5 – Speed reading at 822 feet
Test run #6 – Speed reading at 904 feet
Test run #7 – Speed reading at 471 feet
Test run #8 – Speed reading at 940 feet
Part 3 0f 3 Blinder M45 laser jammer test.
Test run #9 – Speed reading at 1,129 feet
Test run #10 – Speed reading at 1,214 feet
Average punch through from 10 runs = 876 feet!
Conclusion: Take a good look at those punch through numbers. One could conclude by using this Blinder xtreme jammer you’d be relatively safe if the police officer first targeted you past 1,500 feet. Anything closer then 1,500’ and the Blinder M45 Xtreme laser jammer may let you down. I know I wouldn’t feel safe with this strapped to my car. Watch the test videos and see for yourself. The Blinder M45 Xtreme doesn’t work as advertised.

Great job doing all this testing, and thanks for your efforts. I was wondering if you are planning on also testing any other laser jammers such as the BEL LaserPro, Escort Shifter, and Lidatek Laser Echo. It would be great to get a comparison of the relative performance of all of them.
